Thelma Isaacs Obituary

Mary Isaacs of Clarkton, Missouri was born on Monday, June 19, 1933 in White Oak, Missouri to the late John Virgil Waltrip and Bessie Lorey Waltrip.   She departed this life on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Cedarhurst Memory Care in Waterloo, Illinois at the age of 92 years, 7 months, and 3 days.   

Mary was a member of the Methodist Church in Bernie, Missouri and was a factory worker within the chemical industry. 

On October 29, 1994, Thelma Mary Ann Waltrip Henry  was united in marriage to Odas “Pooch” Isaacs in Clarkton, Missouri.  He preceded her in death on June 20, 2002.  Also preceding her in death were one son, John Russell Henry, one daughter, Jannetta Allison,  one brother, John Franklin Waltrip, and one great grandson, Jack.  

Her survivors include: grandsons, Ron Jones and wife Christine of Imperial, Missouri, Tim Jones and wife Kasey of St. Peters, Missouri, Eric Henry and wife Adrienne of Cape Girardeau, Missouri and granddaughter,  Julie Rusteberg and husband Art of Fults, Illinois; great grandchildren, Kennedy, Joe, Clayton, Aaron, Brayden, Emily, Jayce, Will, and Josie.    

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 31, 2026 at Landess Funeral Home in Malden, Missouri.

The funeral service will follow on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at 12:00 PM in the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden, Missouri with Reverend Susan Marner-Sides officiating.

Interment will be in the Stanfield Cemetery in Clarkton, Missouri.
