Mr. Robert “Bob” Franklin Cline, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.  Mr. Cline was born on December 21, 1951 in Caldwell County to the late James Leroy and Margaret Morrow Cline.  Bob was a faithful member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. He was a 1971 Graduate of Lenoir High School, where he enjoyed playing football.  Bob enjoyed watching all sports, but his favorite teams were UNC Tarheels and the Pittsburgh Steelers.     


In addition to his parents, Mr. Cline was preceded in death by an infant sister; and brother, Allen Cline   Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Delaney Groce Cline; children, Barry Barnes, Bobby (Heather) Cline; grandchildren, Courtney Barnes, Joshua (Jessica) Barnes, Ethan Barnes, Cheyenne Cline, Anna Cline, and Adalynn Cline; great grandson, David Barnes; brother, Jim Cline


A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Fall Creek Baptist Church in Jonesville with Rev. Joshua Barnes officiating.  


The family would like to extend a special thank you to the following church families for all their prayers, Fall Creek Baptist Church, West Lenoir Baptist Church and Marler Road Baptist Church.  Also, a special thank you to all the friends and family who have prayed and checked on Bob during his illness.

We hadn’t seen Bobby in a long time but we have nothing but very fond memories of him as our brother-in-law. We offer our sincere condolences to all of you who shared in his life. May you find peace in knowing he is in the presence of our precious Lord.
