Donna and family ~ My deepest sympathy and love on the loss of your mother. Janey and I go back many, many years together and you know that. We had a deep and abiding friendship. I am so thankful for every conversation, laugh, bit of silliness and help we gave each other through the years. I was more than blessed to call her my dear and loving friend.
Despite the fact that Richard and I moved multiple times to different states due to his job, Janey and I always remained in touch and our friendship continued through the years. We could tell each other things in confidence and know they would be kept that way.
My daughters, both in their 60's now, remember sitting on your mother's kitchen floor petting Watson while Janey and I talked and talked. Both of your parents were at our daughters high school graduation parties. Richard and I went camping with your parents and had the best and craziest times together. The four of us would have cookouts on our patio when we lived on Rambeau Road.
My life is richer because Janey was a part of it for so very long. I will always consider her a blessing in my life and a faithful friend. I have so many memories of the two of us that if I started to tell them to you now, I don't think I would ever get to the end.
I am sure that your parents are together in Heaven and it makes me happy that they will never be separated again, thanks be to God.
May God comfort you and may the memories you made with your mother sustain you. All my love.

To her loving family, please accept our sympathy & prayers. I knew Janey from my parent volunteer days at Edgeboro. Her skills, kindness & work ethic helped so many children. Later I became a BASD teacher assistant for 30 yrs. & believe Janey was a positive influence in that decision. May God bless Janey for all the children she helped. The Nickischer Family
