Mrs. Mariana Frances Hamilton, age 90, of Wesley Mountain Dr., Blairsville, GA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Hamilton was born on October 16, 1935, in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Edward Dowling and the late Providence Gazzetta Dowling. As an only child, she was the apple of her mother’s eye. In her leisure time, Mariana enjoyed dinners with her family, traveling, shopping for fashion and reading. She was an animal lover and loved her dogs, especially her Suzie and Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, the love of her life and father of her children, Charles Loskosky, and her 2nd dedicated husband, Paul Hamilton who helped her raise 3 daughters after the death of their father. Mrs. Hamilton was strong in her faith and a follower of Jehovah.
Surviving Mrs. Hamilton are three daughters and son-in-laws; Cheryl and Joe Dyer of Blairsville, GA, Barbara and David Gordon of Hoschton, GA and Tara and David King of Gainesville, GA, five grandchildren; Heather White, Kyle (Brittney) White, Cody (Chantelle) Dyer, Ryan King, Emma King, and three great grandchildren; Braydin Burnett, Ayden Burnett, and Kye Burnett. So sorry to hear of Mariana's passing. I haven't seen her in years but remember her always coming to sub when I called her. She was such a sweet and loving lady. Losing your mother is such a heart breaker when you have been so close to her and I'm sure you were. My mother has been gone for over a year now and I still miss her so much. May God 's comfort be with you and your family. Love, Janie Rowan
