Lindon Alligood Obituary

Thank you for the memories, Mr. Alligood and thank you for being one of my teachers to teach me algebra, though I could never understand algebra and I wasn't paying attention in his classes. For that, I'm truly sorry. My thoughts, love, light and prayers are with the Alligood family. May God be with y'all during this time of bereavement.

Went to school with Lindon from first grade at Pinetown until we finished at Bath High School. He was always such a kind person. Happy to read how well liked he was from his students. Praying for his family.

I always liked Mr. Alligood. I remember some fun times in his class. My thought and prayers go out to the family.

So sorry to hear of (Dookie) Mr.Alligood passing. He was my math teacher for years at CHS had such a great time in his class.learning of math and joking around with him and my classmates.

Fred, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle. I remember "puttin in tobacco" and while it was hard work, you, him, and the whole crew made it alot of fun. Those are some of my best memories growing up. All of you have really been hit hard over the past few months and my heart is with you and all your family. Praise God that this is not the end and that he obeyed the Scriptures and the plan of Salvation. I know he is rejoicing now with Mr. Carmer and Mrs. Mary and your Momma, Daddy, and Uncle Dewey, and all those who have gone on before him. We will all be there one day. So sorry to hear. I had the pleasure of working years and years for his family in the tobacco fields. I cherish every minute. We had a lot of fun, memorable times amid a lot of hard work. Work ethic created. Thank you for allowing me and my sisters to have this treasure to remember. God bless you and your family during this time.

I am not sure where to start. You have always been just across the street. You were definitely "One of a Kind". You had so much knowledge and shared it with us as well as our boys and I want to thank you for that. Many people will miss your presence. May it help to know others will be lifting your family up in prayers during these difficult days ahead.
