Rev. Glen T. Hood, 90, of Broken Arrow, OK went to be with the Lord on January 31, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Glen was born September 19, 1935, in Cache, Oklahoma to John Wesley and Macil Hood. He graduated from Cache High School playing basketball and baseball. He received his Bachelor's Degree from Free Will Baptist Bible College in Nashville, Tennessee. He pastored churches in the Tennessee area, Florida, Texas, Missouri, Colorado and Tulsa and Kellyville area. He was in the ministry for over 55 years. He also worked as a Chaplin part time for Bartlett/St. John's Hospital of Sapulpa and Smith Funeral Home of Sapulpa also part time.
Glen met and married Nadine Hood June 18, 1954. She preceded him in death January 2, 2013, just short of 59 years.
Glen loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and loved sharing Jesus with others. He loved his family and friends.
Glen is survived by his children: son and his wife — Art and Pearlene Hood, daughter and her husband-Glenda and Alan Wadsworth, Son and his wife - Wesley and Marsha Hood, Jan Hood - daughter-in-law, preceded in death his oldest son Randy Hood; Grandchildren: Megan, Andy, Ashlee, David, Craig. Angie, Craig W., Lesli, Grant, and Ashton; Great Grandchildren: Natalie, Samantha, Courtney. Conner, Carson, Carlee, Janel, Isabelle, Cortland, Tate, A.J., Madi, Cicily, Carmine, Caine, and Charlotte; Brothers: Tommy Hood, Johnnie Hood; Sisters: Myrtle Hood-Hess, Marie Hood-Barfield, Juanita Hood-Adams, Barbara Hood-Polley (only surviving sibling) and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
Services will be Wednesday, February 4, 2026, 10:00am, Blue Bell Free Will Baptist Church
Arrangements are under the direction of Traditions Funeral and Cremation Services, 35 S. Main, Kellyville, Oklahoma, 918-247-7373.

He was an amazing Man of God. I remember he lived to sing and play his guitar. I was Blessed to know him. Wish I could make the funeral. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Bro Glen was an amazing man of God and I thought the world of him. John and I had a lot of fun times visiting with Nadine and Glen. I loved him and her very much.

Glenn and I were friends for many years, going to Bible college and pastoring in the same areas. A truly great friend and a great Servant of God!
