Clyde Thomas Obituary

Clyde Parks Thomas, 81, lifelong resident of Maryneal, Texas, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025 at his residence surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, November 16, 2025 at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Cutter Dent officiating. Interment will follow at Decker Cemetery directed by McCoy Funeral Home. Clyde was born in Young Hospital in Roscoe, TX February 10, 1944 to Oma and Iris Jackie (Jones) Thomas. He was a graduate of Highland High School and was a member of the Maryneal Church of Christ. He married Oma Rue "Rudy" Lanier December 25, 1962 in the Blackwell Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Rudy Thomas of Maryneal, TX, his daughter, Susan Dent of Maryneal, TX, his son, Todd Thomas of Maryneal, TX, Grandchildren, Ariel Thomas (Edgar Gallegos) of Roscoe, TX, Branson Thomas of Abilene, TX, Clyde Dent and wife Shelby of Abilene, TX, Cutter Dent of Maryneal, Texas, Great grandchildren, Olliver and Indie Dent, Ellie Gallegos.
