Sue Barda, nee Podzamsky, born February 26, 1920, passed away March 19, 2020, the beloved wife of Rudolph (deceased) and beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother of her son Thomas (Sylvia) grandchildren Marie and Theodore; son Rudolph (Margaret), grandson David (Emily) great grandchildren Stephen, Christian, Joseph and Michael; grandson Andrew (Tomara), great grandchildren Taylor and Jackson; granddaughter Catherine Cleveland (Christopher) great grandchildren Madeline, Justine, and Danielle; and grandson Daniel (Kristy) and great grandchildren Grayson and Ophelia.

All her family cherished their time with her, in particular her celebration of 100 years. Sue worked for Electro Motive Division of General Motors for 20 years, retiring to Florida with her husband. She returned to the Chicago area in 1995. Later, Sue resided for her last 13 years at the Oak Trace Senior Residences in Downers Grove.

Graveside services will be conducted at a later date at Mount Vernon Memorial Estates.
