Arthur Dann Obituary
DANN, Arthur Edward June 15, 1927 - January 11, 2017 It is with great sadness that our family announces the loss of our beloved Art, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and a true friend. Art had a long career as a highly skilled Pattern Maker. He was also an amateur violinist, a passionate fisherman, and a master of rationalizing the need for another vacation. He loved to travel. But at the heart of all of his enterprises, his real muse, was an overwhelming love of companionship and camaraderie. Nothing exceeded his pleasure at being surrounded by his family and his friends. He is survived by Lorraine, his wife of 66 years, his children Steve, Ron and Sharon, and his 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Art leaves behind, with all of us who knew him, an example of kindness, acceptance and humility which we will always carry inside ourselves. An example which will always make the world a much better place in which to live. A reception will be held Saturday, January 14 from 2-5pm at 825 Leslie Drive, Victoria B.C.
