Wilma Schupmann

Bradenton, FL- Wilma Schupmann and family lived in Downers Grove for over forty years. Wilma was a substitute teacher in the Downers school system for a number of years as well as a kindergarten teacher before retiring with husband Carl to Bradenton, Florida in the mid 1990's. All four boys attended schools in the Downers school system and all graduated from DGHSN where Carl was a social studies teacher. The family was actively involved as members of the First United Methodist Church in Downers. Wilma, 89. of Freedom Village is survived by her husband, Carl, sons Gordon, Scott and David, daughters-in-law Lynn, Aileen, Laura and Vivian, brother Coyner Smith, sister-in-law Donna Smith and Linda Smith and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by son, Russell and brother Roger Smith. No memorial services are planned at this time.
