To Thomas's family, I am his Aunt Kathy from Oregon. I knew Thomas when he was about 3 years old and I was 19 and visiting my Illinois family.
At the time, I remember that he liked to push his mama's buttons and his favorite retort was always "So what, who cares"
I was searching for him today and was dumbfounded and saddened to find this Obituary. My deepest condolences to his family. I am Kathy Edwards and Margaret (Peggy) Olmsted was my mother Eileen"s younger sister. My name is now Kay Hudlett

I just heard of Tom's passing from a mutual friend. I use to cruise Archer Avenue on Chicago's southwest side with Tom and a group of street cruisers/racers in the early 1980's. Tom had a passion for American Muscle Cars and his 1974 "California Dreamin" Pontiac Firebird was one beautiful ride. My thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences to Tom's family.

We will miss you, Tommie. I loved sharing car stories with you and Mary and I enjoyed our walks with you and Lisa and our doggies. You were a true friend and a great human being. May you rest in peace.
