Salvatore Raymond Tarantino, 89, of Elmhurst. Beloved husband of Therese nee Was, for 63 years; loving father of Jim (Diane), Joann (Brian) Kenny and Carol (Gary) Wiedemann; grandfather of Rebecca (Chris), Kelly (Kyle) and Jordan; great grandfather of Stryder, Owen and Beckham; dear son of the late James and Marie Tarantino.
Salvatore was a WWII Army Veteran. Salvatore and Therese spent 18 years of retirement in Roseville, CA before returning to Elmhurst to be close to their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Visitation Church, 779 S. York Rd., Elmhurst from 9:45 A.M. until time of Memorial Mass at 10:45 A.M. Saturday, March 4, 2017. Interment private. In lieu of flowers,
