Obituary Condolences

ROY DENNIS PAETH Roy Dennis Paeth, age 69, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 15 th , 2013, at the Health Alliance Hospital, in Ocoee, Florida, from cardiopulmonary arrest. Roy was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, on June 6, 1943, to Roy Henry, and Grace Paeth (Lindemann). He married Rosemarie (Bonura), on September 7, 1963. Most of Roy 's career was in the sales field, however, he is remembered in the West Chicago area because of his political career. He served as Wayne Township Clerk, and was later elected Wayne Township Supervisor, a position he held from 1977 to 1985. While Supervisor, Roy was responsible for forming the Wayne Township Mounted Patrol, which patrolled the Prairie Path, and also the Seniors Club. The Seniors Club is still in existence today. Roy is survived by his wife, Rosemarie, who is still living at Royal Highlands in Leesburg; his son, Roy Eric, from Sycamore, Illinois, with his wife, Dawn and children, Codey, Gillian, Conner and Virginia Rose; daughter, Andrea (Paeth) Gustafson, lives in Sandwich, Illinois, with husband Nate and son, Graham. Roy 's brother, Richard, lives in St. Charles, Illinois, and his sister, Sandy and younger brother, Jeff, both now live in Texas. Although the cause of death was not sarcoidosis, this condition was responsible for Roy 's liver transplant in 2006, and the start of dialysis for ESRD (end stage renal disease). Because of this, Rosemarie is asking that all memorials for Roy be made to the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research, at 1820 West Webster, Suite 304, Chicago, IL, 60614, or on-line at, www.stopsarcoidosis.org A Celebration of Life will be held on his birthday, June 6, 2013, at 6:00 pm, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 331 George Street, in West Chicago. Birthday cake will be served in honor of what would have been his 70th birthday, following a brief church service.
