I am saddened to hear of Dick's passing. I was fortunate to have him as a loyal customer at my record shops in both Oak Park and Forest Park for more than 15 years. A lovely man, with excellent taste in jazz, he was a dedicated listener and fan of many artists and remained up to speed on the music all the time I knew him. We always enjoyed chatting!! His kindness to my partner, children and myself will always be remembered.

I am very sad to hear of Dick's passing. We were together just a few weeks before and planning a future visit. I won't forget his kindness and good humor.
