Richard Matthew Jepsen, Sr., age 85; passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020. Loving husband of Jean E. Jepsen, nee Halla. He was born January 11, 1935 in Cicero, IL. Richard and Jean were married January 18, 1956 and had four children, Linda (Daniel) Data, Richard (Christine) Jepsen Jr., Kenneth (Lori) Jepsen, and Laura (Conrad) Smith. Rich and Jean were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved spending time at his summer home in Wisconsin. He enjoyed many evenings playing cards with family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations to Residential Hospice of Downers Grove Foundation, www.residentialhealthcaregroup.com
Visitation Friday, November 13th, 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service 10:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 5211 Carpenter St. Downers Grove, IL. Interment Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
Immanuel Lutheran Church will be following local government restrictions, limiting the number of people entering the building.
