Marianne I. Maciejewski
Marianne I. "Cookie" Maciejewski nee Trotsek, 79, of Cicero, passed away on October 11, 2017.
Beloved wife of the late Harry; loving mother of Linda (Gregg) Peterson, Robert, William and James Maciejewski; dear grandmother of Laurel and Harry Peterson, Bobby, Dylan, Michaela and William Maciejewski and Alyssa; fond sister of the late Harry (late Cora Mae) Trotsek, late William (late Mary) Trotter, late Clara (late Edward) Lisowski and late Georgiana (late Roy) Dell; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Marianne led a full life and had many interests and hobbies. She was an accomplished artist and was accepted into the Oak Park Art League. She was also an accomplished singer and sang in many church and performing choirs. She loved to travel, and some of her favorite trips was to Europe were she visited Paris, Frankfurt, Lugano and Lago Maggiore. She enjoyed fishing and spending time at her summer home in Momence, IL. She also enjoyed playing slot machines, spending time with her family, and was an excellent cook. Marianne was very proud of her children and grandchildren and their musical, artistic and personal accomplishments. She struggled with many health issues throughout her life and will be greatly missed.
The Funeral was Saturday, October 14th, from Suburban Family Funeral Home, 5940 W. 35th St (Corner of 35th St. & Austin) Cicero to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, October 13th.
