John "Jack" W. Falter, 76; beloved husband of Lois nee Reece for 48 years; loving father of Steven (Dianna), Cynthia (George) Bee; cherished grandfather of Jack, Mike, Shannon Falter and George and John Bee; adored brother of Shirley Hurt and William (Elizabeth) Falter; fond uncle to Michael, James and Carol Falter; and friend to many. John was a proud Captain of the Iowa State Football team and was recruited by the Chicago Cardinals professional football team; he was a commissioned 1st Lieutenant that was honorably discharged from the United States Army. He worked as a stockbroker for 40 plus years. As an active member of the Elmhurst community, he was also known as PTA President, coach, and scout master. He will be missed by all.
