James V. Burnetter, age 78, beloved husband of Marianne, nee Bantel, devoted father of Elizabeth (Steven) Bridgewater, David (Susanne), Robert (Maryrose) and the late Michael Burnetter (Lynne Papan). Cherished grandfather of Michelle, Daniel, Jennifer, Michael, Ryan, Sean, Connor, and Tyler. Dear brother of Rita (Donald) Johnson. Loving brother-in-law of Walter (Rosel) Bantel and Elisabeth Jensen. Fond uncle of many. U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Retired from Chicago Rehabilitation Institute. Visitation Tuesday 3:pm until time of Funeral Service at 7:pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 5015 Lincoln Ave., Lisle (on Rt. 53, ½ mile South of Ogden Ave. / Rt. 34) For info, call 630-964-9392

My heart is aching for Uncle Jim and his wonderful family. It's great that you are all so close, I admire that.
I can just imagine Uncle Jim and all of his brothers joking around and having fun together again. I will miss him and I will pray for all of you. You are so lucky to have had him in your lives. He was a wonderful man, and loved by so many. God Bless of of you.
