Gary Steven Robinson, age 59, a resident of Plainfield, IL, passed away on May 11, 2018 at Hinsdale Hospital.
He was born on May 28, 1958 in Lyons Township, IL. He was a graduate of Downers Grove South High School and was blessed to meet his beloved wife, Kathleen Doney, while there. They were married on June 2, 1979 and enjoyed 38 years of marriage and their two wonderful children before Kathy passed away in December of 2017. Gary retired from Rizza/Hawk Chevy in Bridgeview after 30 years as a mechanic.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Kristin (Christopher Ciesla) Robinson of Chicago and Kelly Robinson of Plainfield, IL; his cherished grandson, Benjamin Ciesla; his brothers, Scott (Nancy) and Brad (Jennifer) Robinson and sister, Susan Starkey; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, Laurene Larsen Robinson and Frank Robinson.
A Celebration of Gary's life is being planned.
