Elsie Marie Zeh
Elsie Marie Zeh (Macal) nee Ratajsky; went to be with the Lord at the age of 87. Beloved mother of Rich (Sue) Macal of Annapolis, MD, Ken (Robin) Macal of Downers Grove and Larry (Carolyn) Macal of Gilbert, AZ; loving grandmother of Jennifer (Michael) Wallace, Michael (Kristina) Macal, Nicholas (Laura) Macal, Geoffrey (Lisa) Macal and Cara (Michael) Wakefield. Blessed great grandmother of Evelyn Wallace, Ella and Jack Macal, and Zachary and Natalie Macal.
Preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry (Gloria) Ray; and husbands, Charles Macal and Ray Zeh.
Born Elsie Marie Ratajsky to Martin and Katherine, she grew up locally and graduated high school from Downers Grove North. Elsie worked at an ammunition plant during World War II. Elsie married Charles J. Macal in February, 1948 and together they had three sons, Rich, Ken, and Larry. Charles passed in 1979 and Elsie married Ray Zeh in 1982. Elsie retired after many years of service from Kramer's Grocery in Hinsdale and enjoyed several years of travel between Illinois and Florida.
Visitation was at Adams-Winterfield & Sullivan funeral home on Thursday, April 9, 2015. Funeral Service was at Christ Church of Oak Brook on Friday, April 10, 2015. Interment at Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
