Elizabeth J. Knoth
Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Knoth, age 86, long time resident of Elmhurst, formerly of Oak Park, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014.
Loving daughter of the late Richard and Catherine (nee Farmer) and Irene Cairns; dear sister of the late Bernard Knoth, Mary Knoth and Kay Kennedy; aunt and great aunt of many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Betty was a long time employee for Prudential Life Insurance Company, as well as a volunteer for many years for the Elmhurst Park District. She will be remembered for her love of family, friends and her church.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst. Funeral will be Saturday, October 18, 2014, with 8:30 a.m. prayers at the mortuary, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 134 Arthur Street, Elmhurst, IL Cremation private.
In lieu of flowers, Masses for the Poor Souls in Purgatory, or charity of your choice appreciated.
