Mrs. Bode was a neighbor of ours when I lived in my parents' house on Westview Lane in Lisle. We grew up knowing her sons, Bob, Bill, John, and Eddie. She was a nice lady, and Mr. Bode is a good man. She will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers to the Bode family...

I am sorry we couldn't be there with you all. Aunt Eleanor will certainly be missed. As I reflected on my memories, a few common themes emerged. She was always great fun to be around, she was always there to help, and she brightened anyone's day that she encountered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Michele and Tom

My sympathies and thoughts go out to you and your family during this very difficult time. Ed, your Mom was always a wonderful woman. Extremely patient as well during the MANY impromptu jam beats of Led Zep coming up from the basement! Lol!! That was certainly the patience of a Saint! She was very sweet and I know she will be sorely missed by her loving family. Sending healing hugs. -Lyssa (Estrella) Neeson

It is hard to believe Aunt El is no longer here with us but I am sure that she and grandma (Lillian) are laughing and catching up on old times. I cherish all the great times I spent in Illinois. Aunt Eleanor was like a second grandma to me. She will be truly missed and has a special place in my heart always. I wish we could be there with you all during these next difficult days but know that I and my family are thinking and praying for you all. God Bless.
Love,
Tami, Ralph, Alex & Austin

Grandma, you were awesome. I have a lifetime of wonderful memories with you. Like the times we went to dinner to overload on our favorite food (crab legs), all the family gatherings, doing crossword puzzles, you buying me dolls always hoping I'd stop being such a tomboy, sharing stories, etc. You had a wonderful sense of humor and could take a joke just as well as you could dish one out. I think my most cherished memory is the time we were at Joe's Crab Shack (haha big surprise right?!) and you told me all about you and grandpa's relationship, sharing tips and stories about how to make a relationship last. You have been one of the biggest inspirations in my life, I love you and will always hold your memory in my heart.
