Not sure what to say?

My deepest condolences to the Hall family. I first met Donald Hall through the poetry of Jane Kenyon some fifteen years ago. Last year I travelled to Wilmot to see Eagle Pond farm. On my return home I wrote two letters to him which he graciously answered within a few days. He spoke of his new book which would be coming out in July 2018. He will be missed, but his work will be read for a long, long time.

MY GOD CONTINUE TO BE WITH THE FAMILY.

Complications in a man can be revealed in songs, writing, and poetry theses are the windows of the mind and heart. Can we understand what they are saying? If we listen very carefully with our hearts and minds the intent of their meaning becomes clear. My sincere condolences for your loss.

REST IN PEACE

A great man whose poetry moved many, and one's whose memory I cherish. Don personified the spirit of Wilmot, New Hampshire, the Red Sox, and indeed America.

My very belated apologies.... but i know you must be writing furiously now about your new experience past the gates of death, and into the...

My name is Ronda McCormick, my condolences to you on the death of Donald Hall. I met Donald years ago when I donated bone marrow to his wife Jane. We were saddened that she did not survive. Don was making a trip to Nebraska and drove to Aurora to meet m

Sending sympathy for this tremendous loss to Dons family and circle of friends. Having heard and seen him read his poetry at the Ragged Mt Fish & Game Club, the Concord City Auditorium, and Red River Theatres in Concord, I know what a powerful observer of life he was, and how his poets eye and ear and pen....or should I say typewriter?...prompted all of us to see life differently. He will live on through his published works and continue to make future generations appreciate the essentials...

So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. May the God and father who binds up the broken-hearted comfort and strengthen all those who mourn sustain the family and friends during this difficult time of grief. My sincere condolences to the family and friends. (Isaiah 61:1,2).
