Donald A. Wallin, 83, of Janesville, WI, passed away peacefully at Rock Haven Nursing Home in Janesville, WI February 20th 2018.

He was born July 19th 1934 in Minneapolis MN to Fergus and Jane (Olson) Wallin. He spent his early life in Fond du Lac graduating from Fond du Lac High School. He served in the US Army Reserve for 8 years. He traveled internationally as a buyer of men's clothing for Sears Roebuck and Company for 35 years.

He was married to his first wife, Barbara Wallin for 42 years and together they had 5 children.

On June 10th 2000 he married the love of his life, Margaret (Florek) Bednar- Wallin. They enjoyed taking River Cruises with the Back of the Blue Bus Buddies and spending time in their dream home in Bella Vista AR. He also enjoyed golf, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a member of First English Lutheran Church of Whitewater Wisconsin.

Don is survived by his wife Margaret "Margie" Bednar-Wallin. Children, Kimberly Thornley of Ashburn, VA, Kevin (Lisette) Wallin of Morton Grove, IL, Kathleen (Patrick) Malone of West Salem, WI, Kurtis (Fanny) Wallin of Iselin, NJ, Kenneth Wallin of Chicago IL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two step daughters, Kim (Dwayne) Berry of Pleasant Prairie, WI. Brenda (Dylan) of Leonardo, NJ; brother, Robert Wallin of Edina, MN; and brother-in-law's, Robert and Lawrence Florek both of Milwaukee, WI. He is further survived by his buddy, John Buch of Fort Myers, FL; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William; and mother-in-law, Elizabeth Klawitter.

A service will take place on Saturday, February 24th at 3:00 p.m. at the First English Lutheran Church 401 Main Street Whitewater, WI 53190. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 2:00 until the time of service. Burial to follow at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater, Wisconsin.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to First English Lutheran Church or Special Olympics would be appreciated.
