Danny Elder
Danny Elder, age 66, at rest suddenly at his home in Lemont, where he was a longtime resident. Proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam.
Born July 1, 1949, in Sterling, Il. to Alva and Reabart (nee Dively) Elder.
Beloved husband of Nina nee Dougherty; loving father of Jennifer (Eric) Klemme and Scott Elder; devoted grandfather of Jacob and Colin; dearest brother of Eugene (Phyllis), Jeanene (the late John) Lener, Michael (Lisa), Carmen (Levi) Elder and Harry Ellsworth; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his brothers, Randy, David, Stevie and his parents.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday June 28 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Pastor Michael Gudgel, officiating. Interment Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
