To Laura, Christopher and Maggie & Megan,
I was so shocked to hear about Sue, just today!! I am her friend from Prudential and none of us gals knew about her sudden passing!! We feel awful we did not come to her wake, but we just found out today about it. We knew she was being treated for cancer and had no idea it was so bad.
Please know we loved your mom, and all of us gals are just devastated to hear how quickly this cancer took her from us. I want you to know we are praying for you all and also that your mom loved you all so dearly. We didn't get together without her telling us stories about her beloved grand daughters. We will surely miss her so much. Please accept my sincere sympathy and this goes for all of us, your moms former co-workers from Prudential.

I'm so sorry for Ed and Sue's family and friends. We have all lost two lovely people in such a short time. We met Ed and Sue in Fairbanks, Alaska almost eleven years ago. We had to go all the way to Alaska to meet this couple who live 45 minutes away from our home. We became good friends over the years sharing some very nice dinners with them and spending time in their home. When Ed passed away, it was really sad for all of us. We continued to enjoy monthly dinners with Sue and I started meeting her for lunch a couple times each month. After lunch we would walk, mostly in Yorktown mall, to chat and enjoy each other's company. I really looked forward to our time together and I will miss her terribly. What I will always remember about her is her sense of humor, her megawatt smile, and her positive outlook on life - always the glass half-full lady. Ed called her his angel. Now I think she is our angel. God bless you Sue.

Our deepest sympathies to Sue's family during this very stressful time. Sue and her husband Ed were a very special couple. They were always such fun to be with at various Village functions. The North Riverside Historical Society fund raiser dinner was a favorite of theirs, along with the summer concerts at the Village Commons. They will both be truly missed
