Shirley Webb

Shirley Webb, age 84, formerly of Elmhurst, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on November 30, 2012. Shirley attended U of I prior to becoming a professional bowler and winning the National Title. After a long and enduring courtship, she married Chuck. They started their family in Hartford City, IN until moving to Elmhurst in 1969. Although her devotion was to her family, Shirley continued her passion to her floral career with Pfund & Clint . There was a continuous revolving door for friends and family, not only in their home but at their cottage on Lauderdale Lakes WI. or when on Marco Island, FL. Cherished daughter of the late John A. and Mabel M. Michal, prominent owners of Michal's Florist on Chicago's south side. Devoted wife of 55 years to the late Charles "Chuck" Webb. Loving mother of Jay (Nancy) Webb, Terri (Ted) Crapple, Lee (Dave) Williams and Linn Kroeger. Dear grandmother of Erik and Brian Webb; Kyle and Jennifer Williams and Allison Kroeger. May we always remember the way she could light up a room with her smile as she is now reunited in eternity with her best friend. Visitation was at the Pedersen-Ryberg Mortuary, 435 N York Rd., Elmhurst, on Thursday, December 6, 2012, from 3-9pm. Funeral Services held at funeral home on Friday, December 7, 2012 at 11am.
