Ruth Ellen Duffy
Ruth Ellen Duffy (Girman) died peacefully July 28, 2017 surrounded by family.
She grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in education in '82 and a member of the Delta Zeta sorority. Ruth and her husband, Steve, proudly raised three fine boys in Wheaton, IL and had recently moved to Fitchburg, WI. Throughout her life, Ruth touched countless people with her creative spirit and kindness, including her volunteer work with therapy dogs at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. and her work in the ESSE Adult Day Care Center in Warrenville, IL. Her zest for life was evident in her love of dance, yoga, gardening, crafting, quilting and playing the French horn in Bradford High School and Kenosha Pops Bands. She is survived by her husband Steve, children Paul, Neil and Glen, parents Mark and Earlene, sister Judith and brother Stephen.
A memorial service will be scheduled in both Wheaton and Kenosha.
