Robert J. Mueller, 86, of Hampshire, formerly of Addison passed away suddenly Sunday, October 1, 2017 at his daughter's home in Hanover Park.
He was born June 22, 1931 in Forestville, WI the son of Ernst and Inez (Rutz) Mueller. He was an US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. Bob married Beverly Mae Moore on Aug. 17, 1957 in Forestville and were proud to have celebrated 60 years together.
Mr. Mueller had been employed by the Scholle Corp. of Northlake for 36 years as a logistics manager. He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Hampshire and very much enjoyed fishing and trips to Canada.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be deeply missed by his wife, Beverly; son, Bruce (Kathy) Mueller of Huntley; daughter, Lois (Frank) Rostine of Hanover Park; 6 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild; brother, Roger (Janice) Mueller; sister, Bette (Robert) Nickel; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Friday, Oct. 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 135 Terwilliger St. in Hampshire. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Hampshire Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00pm Thursday, Oct. 5 at Fredrick Funeral Home, 284 Park St. in Hampshire and continues on Friday at the church prior to services from 10:00 to 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church.

Dearest Beverly and Family, we are so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. May God wrap his loving arms around all of you during this difficult time.
