Beloved wife of the late John D.; mother of Elizabeth (John) Sorensen, Thomas David (Shirley Hesche) Scheer, Sally (Don) Haugk and Jean (Tim) Dotson; grandmother of Jeff Sorensen, Heidi (Jack) Thompson, Alan (Samantha) Scheer, Joe (Denise) Haugk, Kevin (Stacie) Haugk, Tom (Trista) Haugk, Amy (Todd) Steffan, Joy (Sam) Pomeroy and Holly (Nick Montecinos) Dotson; great grandmother of Jeffrey, Charley, Peri, Evan, Amanda, Josh, John, Ryan, Jason, Autumn, Brooke, Chloe, A.J. and Hailey; sister of the late Elizabeth Johns, Jack Jallings and Charles Jallings; loving aunt of many nieces and nephew.
She was active in the Leukemia Research Foundation, loved going to the lake and bird watching.
Memorial Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Monday, August 21, 2017. Memorial Service 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Private interment Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery.
