Joyce M. Clark
Joyce M. Clark, nee Lofgren, age 100, born in Campton Twp. IL, continued a lifelong association with the surrounding Garfield Farm Community.
Beloved wife for 57 years of the late Glenn L. (1995), survived by cousins, Robert Larson, Dorothy Harmes, Roberta Niebergall and Lois Clark; also a dear friend to many.
Joyce graduated from St. Charles High School (1934), and Cornell College (1938). Joyce and Glenn moved to Downers Grove in 1961, and became active members of the First United Methodist Church. Joyce was active with the Downers Grove Historical Society, the Salt Creek Civil War Round table, a longtime Volunteer for the American Red Cross, and the Alexander Bradley Burns Post #80 Auxiliary.
Visitation will be Friday, September 15, 2017 3:00 p.m. until services 5:00 p.m. at Toon Funeral Home, 4920 Main Street, Downers Grove, IL. Interment Saturday, September 16, 2017 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 1121 North Galena Avenue, Dixon, IL 61021.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1032 Maple Avenue, Downers Grove, IL 60515.
