John T. Laheta

Born: July 19, 1955

Died: October 19, 2018

John T. Laheta, age 63, of Downers Grove, passed away on October 19, 2018 at Edwards Hospital. He was born on July 19, 1955 to John and Alaine Laheta in Chicago.

John was a graduate of Downers Grove North HS. He was an autobody repairman and a handyman. He loved automobiles and motorcycles. John loved being in nature and will be remembered as an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his son, Jesse (Dawn) Laheta; grandchildren, Brianna and Chelsea Laheta; siblings, JoAnn Lloyd and Bill (Chris) Laheta.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother in law, John Lloyd.

Services were privately held.

The family has been assisted by Gurnee Salata Funeral Home, 4190 Old Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031.
