George Bahnick

GEORGE F. BAHNICK, SR. George F. Bahnick, Sr., age 73, of Edgerton, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, April 26, 2013, at home. He was born May 31, 1939 in Oak Park, Illinois, the son of Fred and Elsie (Manda) Bahnick. After college, George married Judith Ann Kolodziejski, on March 12, 1960. He then served his country from 1962 to 1965, in the Marine Corp. George was a policeman for over 30 years with the city of Cicero, Illinois. After retiring and moving to Edgerton, Wisconsin, he worked for 10 years as a custodian at Oak Lawn Academy. He was a member of the Illinois Policeman Association, and loved to hunt and fish and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann, of Edgerton, sons, George (Melinda Copher) Bahnick Jr., of Cicero, Illinois, and John (Kelly Davis) Bahnick, of Janesville, Wisconsin, daughter, Judith S. (Kevin) Dunlap, of Justice, Illinois, grandchildren, Steven Rios, Brandin, George, and Susan Dunlap, Julio and Alex Melendez, his mother, Elsie Bahnick, brother, Steven Bahnick of Cicero, Illinois, sisters in law, Kay Sparks, Diane Hohe, Beverly (Joseph) Kiely, Bonnie (Robert) Peterson, and Debra (Tom) Conrad. George was preceded in death by his father, Fred, brothers in law, Ellis Sparks and Jim Hohe. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 10004 S.
