FRANK CVITANOVICH Frank Cvitanovich age 92, of Glendale, Arizona, formerly of Lyons, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2013. Beloved husband of Eva (Dolly) Cvitanovich nee Fajdich for 67 years, loving father of Eileen (Bill) Demske, Frank (Colleen) Cvitanovich, cherished grandfather of 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Fond brother of Olga Ptacek, Eva Verzal, Virginia Herron, Dolores Cabrera and Bill Cvitanovich. Sisters-in-law Georgiana (Inka) Cvitanovich, Marie Cvitanovich, Bette Cvitanovich. Uncle to many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and great- great- nieces and great-great- nephews, and will be greatly missed by all. Preceded in death by Ann Matkovich, Emily Kucan, Julia Kucera, John Cvitanovich, Mary Paskvan, George Cvitanovich, David Cvitanovich. Frank was a World War II veteran and POW in Dresden Stalag B. He received two purple hearts and one Bronze star. Cremation and burial with full military honors at the VA National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
