Charles Anderson Obituary

Charles Jacob Anderson was born December 13th, 1937. He was a lifelong Downers Grove resident. He lived in the subdivision known as Andersonville because so many of the Anderson family lived there. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Emery and Loretta Bertha (Krieg) Anderson. Survived by his siblings, Leona J. Olsen, Jo Ann B. Thomas and James E. Anderson; also many nieces, nephews, extended family members as well as lifelong friends. Charles served in the Army over seas in Germany from 1961 to 1963. He worked as a union bricklayer his entire adult life until he became disabled and was a member of the Bricklayer's Union # 74. Charles loved to fish, work on old cars and play cards with his family. He will be missed and was loved by all. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2012 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the VFW Post #503, 5101 Belmont in Downers Grove.
