Maribeth Koch Born: July 5, 1960 Died: Nov. 11, 2014 Maribeth Koch, passed away peacefully surrounded by love ones on November 11th, 2014. Born on July 5th, 1960, in Chicago Heights, IL. She resided in Western Springs, IL with her husband Klaus of 25 years and her beloved children Gunnar & McKenna. She was the daughter of Allen and Georgia Schultz and was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her three brothers, Kurt and his wife Michelle; Walter and his fiancee Carol; Joe and his wife Wendy; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on November 23rd, 2014, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Village Club at 4221 Lawn Avenue in Western Springs, IL. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to Gunnar and McKenna's college fund c/o Klaus Koch.

Kovach, Irene  
Irene Kovach Born: March 3, 1926 Died: Nov. 14, 2014 Irene Kovach, 88, a long-time resident of the Wilderness Country Club, Naples, Florida passed away on November 14, 2014. Irene was born on March 3, 1926, in Kamenec, Slovakia to Mike and Mary Hudec. After moving to Windsor, Ontario Canada, Irene met and married the love of the life, William J. Kovach on May 3, 1952, in Windsor. The two of them spent many wonderful years in Glen Ellyn, Illinois where they raised their 5 children, as well as Naples, Florida where they enjoyed golf, playing bridge and dancing. Irene was a beautiful and kind person; she had a "heart of gold" and always had a smile on her face. She lived her life for her family, placing her children as the highest priority in her life. Irene will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grand mother. Irene is survived by her two daughters, Christine Alexander and her husband, Don, Nancy Sheldon and her husband, Ron; her sons, Rick, Mike (Linda) and Bill (Carol); as well as her brother Mike Hudec and his wife, Sandy. Her legacy will be carried on by her 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family extends a heart filled thank-you to Niccole Sherman, who provided extraordinary loving care of our mother. We will miss you Reeny! A family only mass and memorial will be held in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Basil A. Libovicz Basil A. Libovicz, 79, of Elmhurst. Beloved husband of Elaine nee Loeffler; father of James, Kenneth, Amy (David) Reeter and Cara Lynch; grandfather of Mitchell Reeter, Daniel Reeter, Kevin Lynch, Bradley Lynch, Hannah Libovicz and Lucas Libovicz; brother of Beatrice (Bernard) Mahalik: uncle of many nieces & nephews. Basil, a 54 year resident of Elmhurst, was a Registered Professional Engineer for all of his professional life; owner and operator of Kingsman Building Systems based in Elmhurst. Before retirement, he served on the Elmhurst Public Library Board and on the Elmhurst Historical Commission. He was also an active member in People for Elmhurst Parks for a number of years. Basil was an active member at Old St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Chicago where he was a Hospitality Minister. Visitation at Ahlgrim Funeral Home, 567 S. Spring Rd., Elmhurst from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 23, and at Old St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 700 W. Marr, Wilma A. Foster O'Kane  
Wilma A. O'Kane Marr Born: May 1, 1943; in Sandwich, IL Died: Nov. 15, 2014; in Aurora, IL Wilma Arlene Foster O'Kane Marr, 71, passed away Saturday, November 15, 2014, at her home in Aurora. She was born May 1, 1943, in Sandwich, Illinois, to Belva (Wixom) and Randall Foster. Wilma was raised on a farm near Rollo, Illinois, and attended Rollo Elementary School, as well as Shabbona High School. She married Gary O'Kane in 1961, a union which produced two children. In 1988, she was married to her husband, Lee Marr. After high school, she began by working at the Wurlitzer Piano Company in DeKalb,Illinois, where she stayed until 1964. At that point she began her own day care for children, while also designing custom-made draperies. By 1978, she was working at Barber-Greene in Aurora and later for the Caterpillar Company in DeKalb, before eventually retiring in 2002. Her hobbies included reading, sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. Wilma was also a very active member of New England Congregational Church in Aurora. Wilma is survived by her husband, Lee Marr; her children, Koren (Brad) DeSplinter and Randy (Alejandra) O'Kane; her sister, Shirley McDowell; her brothers, Charles (Gloria) Foster and Bruce (Nancy) Foster; her brother-in-law, Charles Marr; her grandchildren, Andrew and Bobbi DeSplinter, and Patrick, Griffin and Maria O'Kane; her step daughters,Kelly (Patrick) Kirwan and Christy (Rod) Fanning and her step son, Scott Marr; her step grandchildren, Karen Contresas, Josh(Ashley) Hendryx, and Riley, Marlee and Garrett Fanning; and her step great-grandchildren Cole, Kayden and Dane Hendryx. In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Clare and Vivian (Burke) O'Kane, and Edward and Katie (Cox) Marr; as well as her brother-in-law, Paul McDowell; and her step granddaughter, Matalyn Fanning. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Pl., Aurora. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at New England Congregational Church, 406 W. Galena Blvd., Aurora. Interment will be at Lincoln Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the New England Congregational Church Music Department.
