Former husband of Carol Lorraine Klima Martin; beloved father of John Charles, Lawrence Thomas, Sylvia Rose, Donald Joseph (Donna Lynn), Marjorie Louise (Edward) Bontrager, and Celeste Lorraine (Eduardo) Borjon; loving grandfather of Nicole Lynn, the late Fleeta Carol, Heather Marie, Courtney Ellen, Gwynevere Elizabeth Martin, Jonathan Edward Bontrager, Rosella Lorraine and Angela Marie Borjon; dear brother of Josephine (Bernard) Venezia; fond uncle of Donna Venezia and the late Bernard Venezia. Also survived by numerous cousins. Visitation Friday, September 28, 2012 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Hallowell & James Funeral Home, 1025 W. 55th St., Countryside. Prayers 10:45 a.m. Saturday, September 29th at the funeral home to St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, Western Springs for Mass at 11:15 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery. He was a great grandfather and he died when I was 3 so what do I know well he absolutely loved to golf it was his favorite thing to do he was also a veteran for ww2 and I am great full that I had some time to spend with him and am Angela Marie Borjon

One of my father's favorite prayer/affirmations was,
"Jesus, I trust in you!" We, likewise, trust in the Lord..., not on our own understanding (Prov. 3:5), and look forward to the day when we will be united with Dad in heaven.
Meanwhile he is enjoying a blessed reunion with those who went before him.
