Bernard "Barney" Joseph Regnier Sr., 82, of Pueblo Colorado & South Haven Michigan and formerly from Riverside Illinois, died peacefully surrounded by his family on November 27th, 2012. Barney served proudly in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war. At the time of his death, was acting 4th District Commander of the Michigan American Legion. Barney retired from Electro-Motive Division of GM, LaGrange IL, in 1986 and enjoyed every day of his retirement. Barney was married 62 years to Elizabeth Jane Regnier who survives him. Barney is also survived by daughters Linda Regnier & Cathy (Jim) Velazquez; sons Bernard "Bud" (Tammy) Regnier Jr., and Michael (Laurie) Regnier; also many grandchildren and extended family.Memorial service information can be found @ [email protected]. I am so very sorry to hear of Barneys'
passing. From what I heard, You enjoyed your Michigan farm and your retirement years. He was a good man.
