Skip, my love. You were taken away too soon and my heart is breaking. I remember when we ran off and got married, and you dropped the ring in the shag carpet at the ministers house, and we had to crawl around and look for it. I remember when we followed Dawn around and hid in bushes to she what she was up to. I remember when Nicole and Kristin were born and how proud you were. You loved them so much. I remember when Sophia entered the world and you held her for the first time. Our hearts melted. Most of all I remember how much I love you! Rest in peace until we meet again my love!

Dear Papa,
This still seems surreal..but here goes. Thank you. Thank you for all the time spent at the cottage on Hudson Lake hunting for yermies and joyriding on the mopeds. Thank you for taking care of me every time I was sick. I have a feeling that "papa's eggs" were a major reason why I stayed home for 32 days in one quarter during 2nd grade. Thank you for letting me watch Dirty Dancing on repeat when I know you much preferred The Hunt for the Red October. Thank you for buying me my first car. Thank you for all of your love, support, and encouraging words. Thank you for singing the most ridiculous made up songs at the drop of a hat. Thank you for sharing your even more ridiculous dance moves. Thank you for the birthday cards, graduation gifts, and christmas presents. Thank you for the laughs (there were many!) Thank you for being you. I miss you so much it hurts and I pray that you will always watch over Sophie. I love you!
