Mary Balicek (nee Sodoma), 94, long time resident of Cicero, was born August 15, 1924 to the late Anton and Margaret Sodoma and passed away October 28, 2018.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Charles Balicek; loving mother of Susan (the late Albert) Maretta, Barbara Balicek; cherished grandmother of Charlie Maretta, Nicholas (Shawna) Maretta, and Peter Maretta; great grandmother of Dominic Maretta and Wyatt Maretta; dear sister of the late Rose Votava, the late Anton Sodoma, and the late Sylvia Sodoma.
A visitation will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home 7750 W. Cermak Rd. Forest Park on Friday November 2, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. Prayer service Saturday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00am with Interment to follow at Bohemian National Cemetery Chicago, IL.
