Shirley A. Arnold, age 81, passed away June 12, 2014 at her home in Glen Ellyn, where she had been a resident for 50 years. She was born January 29, 1933 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Shirley enjoyed stitchery and gardening. She served as a volunteer at Glen Oak School, Faith Lutheran Church and the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James; children, Marc (Kathy) Arnold of St. Peters MO, and Eric Arnold of Beverley Hills, CA; three grandchildren; siblings, Patricia Choffin of Portage MI, and William Choffin of Battle Creek MI

Services and Interment were private.

Memorials to Glen Ellyn Food Pantry, 493 Forest Ave. Glen Ellyn IL 60137 are appreciated.
