Rev.  Sidney J. Frazen Obituary
Rev. Sidney J. Frazen The Reverend Sidney J. Frazen, of Indian Head Park, Pastor Emeritus of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. He was a Veteran and served with the 2nd Armored Division of the Army of Occupation in West Germany. He graduated from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri. He was loving husband of Norma (deceased); father of Mitchell (Mary), Ruth, and Bradley; grandfather of Daniel, Christina, Shauna, Roberta, and Jenny; and great-grandfather of Logan, Brooklynn, Zenen, and Angel. Pastor Sid served many local congregations and ministered to hundreds of people. With his words, he reminded us of God 's grace and love, encouraged us to be better Christians, comforted us through difficult times, uplifted us and made us laugh. With his actions, he showed us how to be loving children, devoted spouses, nurturing parents, fun grandparents and loyal friends. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, 4101 Wolf Road, Western Springs, on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to Lutheran Braille Workers, 13471 California Street, P.O. Box 5000, Yucaipa, CA 92399.
